Maestro Salvatore Accardo

Among the world's most prestigious violinists and conductors, Salvatore Accardo made his debut at just 13 with Paganini's Caprices. Winner of the Geneva and Genoa competitions, he has built an extraordinary career, also dedicating himself to the training of young talents. A former student and teacher at the Accademia Chigiana, he returned in 2004.

The Chigiana Music Academy

Founded in 1932 by Count Guido Chigi Saracini and artistically directed by Nicola Sani, it is one of Italy's most prestigious musical institutions. Every summer, through the Chigiana International Festival & Summer Academy, it offers the world a preview of the future protagonists of classical music.
