How We Do It
The time has come to look at ageing in a whole new way in Italy, because we believe everybody has the right to live longer – the way they want. That’s why we are creating a totally new alternative for people that is based around the individual’s want and needs. Ours is a new approach to later living that holistically enables wellbeing and longevity, and reconnects people with their passions and their community.
What We Offer
We’re passionate about later living, but not as you currently know it. Guild Living is the new generation of later living, offering homes for rent within welcoming communities. We empower older people to live rich lives steeped in independence, kindness, respect, and contentment. They offer a range of facilities, including cafés, gyms, restaurants, classes, and cinemas. And, if needed, expert 24-hour support. Our belief is that later living can be one of the most fulfilling times in our lives. We’d love you to see it first-hand.
Where We Are
Guild Living will open its first community in the world heritage town of Siena. Guild Living Siena is set to become Italy’s finest Third Age community. At Guild Living we are working hard to bring our innovative concept of Third Age Living to Turin, Milano, Lake Garda and Galzignano Terme. Who We Are
Guild Living was founded in 2019 by Eugene Marchese and Michael Eggington. With significant experience in later living design, project development and community operations, both Eugene and Michael agreed that, globally, there was a need to deliver a new way to age. As a resident of Lucca for more than 30 years, Eugene is passionate about improving the lives of older people in Italy. And with Michael’s years of experience successfully steering some of Australia’s leading retirement businesses, the partnership was formed.
